Tuesday June 29th, The Anguilla Customs Department published a note via its Facebook Page informing the public that as of July 1st, 2021 “the submission of electronic invoices displayed on your personal cellphone for clearance of goods, will not be accepted.”
We have made the decision to retract the previously issued requirements in the interim while we continue to make the necessary changes internally to mitigate the risks which prompted the position taken. We will continue to accept invoices submitted electronically and viewed on personal devices.
Notice is hereby given by virtue of the distribution and price of Goods Act R.S.A c D30, His excellency the Governor, Tim Foy has appointed the Comptroller of Customs as the Supply Officer in Anguilla for the purposes of this Act.
Further by virtue of Section 2 of the Distribution and Price of Goods Act, the Hon. Minister of Trade and Commerce Mr. Kyle Hodge has extended the Order under Schedule 2 of the Distribution and Price of Goods (Maximum Price Order) Regulations, which establishes an instructive of a list of price-controlled, until 9th October, 2020.

TRADERS FITTING THIS CRITERIA, THAT ARE INTERESTED IN THE DEFERRED PAYMENT CAN VISIT THE CUSTOMS MAIN OFFICE (SUPPORT SERVICES) TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION AND ONCE APPROVED SIGN AN AGREEMENT.
THE ATTACHED LIST OF GOODS WILL BE TEMPORARILY EXEMPTED FROM ALL DUTIES AND RELATED TAXES EFFECTIVE 13TH APRIL 2020 UNTIL 6TH JULY 2020.
THE TRADING PUBLIC AND BROKERS ARE ADVISED TO USE PROCEDURE CODE 4000 C19 TO CLEAR THE APPROVED ITEMS.
PLEASE NOTE 4200 C19 CAN BE USED FOR NON-COMMERCIAL IMPORTS FOR THE APPROVED ITEMS
